I love spending time with others, getting to know them, their life stories. I work at a local pharmacy as part-time and many people that come in want to share not only their prescription records. Sometimes all they need is a friendly soul someone who will simply sit down with them and listen. You don't have to do much, you don't have to be able to donate thousands of dollars to make someone unfortunate, happy. And they return a favor if not more. You get to learn so much more about life than what you already know. Some of the hardships you could never imagine experiencing yourself and the fact that person sitting in front of you has, makes you realize how much a human being can take. I would never trade a single second spent with those people because the things they taught me such as appreciation for life and humanity do not come easily.

And to completely change the topic another aspect of my life that I simply couldn’t live without is dancing and acting. Sounds so ordinary but there is nothing that makes me as happy as the music flowing through my veins. I only do it as a hobby and behind closed doors but it makes me absolutely ecstatic. I want to enjoy life every way possible and hopefully by doing that I’ll be able to inspire someone else to do the same.

If I could get paid to do just about anything it would have to be traveling. I was born and raised in Poland and moved to the U.S. when I was fifteen. It threw me off a little, not knowing where I belong where my home is. For the longest time I was bitter and wanted to go back. Not until recently did I realized that it's not where you live but how you do it and what's in your heart. Poland will always be the biggest part of it and as long as I hold it in there I'll know where I belong. Nevertheless, there is so much more to see and learn. That's one of the reasons why I decided to study in Scotland my first semester of my freshman year. Those four months are actually what changed my mind regarding the whole living situation. That little episode of my life has had such a huge impact on me that there is no way I could stop, which is why I'm going to Rome this coming up semester. I absolutely love to travel and not in a tourist-kind-of-a-way but actually living there for a while. How else are you going to understand others if you don't put yourself in their shoes?

And so to answer the question, what I do now is actually what my ideal job description would be. I only hope I will be fortunate enough to continue on that road once I finish college.
